September 28, 2020 "Information Clearing House" - Can you spot the difference between this man and the individuals we have chosen as our presidents. The people we have chosen to lead our nation are a perfect reflection of our culture. Greed, money and power are the gods they adore. We then exclaim with horror that these people are abusing the principles we value so highly. We have built this house of cards while exclaiming to the world that we are the greatest nation on earth and in our hearts there is only fear, greed and arrogance. Shame on us! We have the leaders we deserve. We chose them. Watch the videos below and weep for how corrupt we as a people have become. Wisdom is born of real human suffering and can not be bought or traded.
José Mujica, nicknamed Pepe Mujica, was President of Uruguay from 2010 to 2015. A former Tupamaros freedom fighter in the 60s and the 70s, he was detained, like a hostage by the dictatorship between 1973 and 1985. In all, he spent 13 years in prison.
He advocates a philosophy of life focused on sobriety: learn to live with what is necessary and fairest.
