What it's Important to Attack The Agenda Issues Rather Than Trump Himself

By Anonymous

October 25, 2017 "Information Clearing House" - There is an interesting program by  The Progressive magazine (Madison, WI) that has been doing for years; they are now putting more effort into it with local training meetings that capitalize on strong  feelings about the Trump agenda.  http://progressive.org/About-PMP/ It is important to attack the agenda issues rather than Trump himself, an obvious target that distracts from the issues the majority (including Trump supporters) would oppose absent the defensive feelings engendered by any direct association with Trump himself. The elimination of protective regulations in all spheres (health, environment, banking fraud) and the privatization of public services (lands, prisons, schools, water) are examples. Writing op ads at the local level is a good way to begin local organizing efforts.

It is so easy to demonize Trump (and to lionize opposition leaders, like the scum from the DNC= Democratic National Cartel that recently expelled Sanders supporters). Trump surprisingly attracted many, including 90% of evangelicals, in part because he is basically a manipulative secular preacher. But even evangelical devotees would oppose the "anti-christian” programs instituted by the regime. The news media occasionally have published reports that anti-Trump publicity (Russian ties and their influence on 2016 elections; blackmail for sexual escapades) was instituted and financed by the DNC to undermine Trump and scapegoat him for the deserved loss of the Clintons. Another article appeared today.

Trump today has a very low approval rating (38%) which is better than that of Hillary Clinton (30%); those feeling very positive about Trump (20-25%) is almost twice those positive about Clinton.

In line with my caution about attacking Trump I want to make it clear that there is no validation for claims that several million dollars were spent refitting the toilets in the White House and Air Force One to accommodate the massive derriere of Mr Trump. (Nor is it true that Trump once considered adding Monica Lewinsky to his staff)
